This is the west side of the Memorial Auditorium,
as you can clearly see the expansion appears to be nothing more than superstructure
at the time. Some of the hanging boxes don't even have floors yet!

The picture on the right gives you an idea
of just how much the extension will protrude from the building.

A week has gone by and they are already beginning
to drywall the hanging boxes and the remainder is
starting to really take shape.
Pictures from the outside from the day of
the fan appreciation game - 9/01/02
Progress is evident, and a nice tan color
replaces the ugly white and yellow.
RangerRush's first look at the inside and
renovation in progess, this place was a
mess on the inside for the first exhibition
game against the Generals! Dirt and
dust everywhere. The picture on the
left shows the boxes all tarped over, most
surprisingly looking are the hanging boxes
at the end of the arena. The light up
ads have been removed exposing the old green
paintjob. The picture on the right
shows the new resturant end (behind the tarp)
this picture was taken from the
camera spot at center ice in the new media
area.
Pictures from the last exhibition game against
the Barrie Colts on Sept 13th, 2002, give
a better idea of what to expect the end result
to look like.

An idea of what the new scoreboard will look
like.
